Check your spam folder. Codes can take up to a minute to arrive depending on your email provider. If it still hasn't arrived after 5 minutes, request a new code from the verify-code page or contact support.

Codes expire after 10 minutes and can only be used once. Tap 'Resend code' on the verify page to get a new one.

Tap your wallet from the dashboard, then "Redeem coupon". You'll receive a code by email — paste it at checkout on hotcomps.com.

Coupons are valid only on hotcomps.com and have an expiry date shown in your wallet. If the code is showing as invalid before its expiry, email us with the code and we'll investigate.

Go to Settings and scroll to the Danger zone. You'll have a 7-day window to change your mind — sign back in within that window to cancel.

Just sign in again within 7 days of requesting deletion. Visiting /login and verifying a new 6-digit code automatically clears the pending deletion. After 7 days the deletion is final and cannot be undone.

On iPhone, push only works after you've added the site to your home screen and opened it from the icon. On Android Chrome, the bell icon at the bottom-right of the dashboard prompts for permission. If you've previously denied permission, you'll need to re-enable it from your browser's site-settings panel. Email hello@hotcomps.com if pushes still don't arrive after subscribing.

iPhone:tap the Share icon in Safari, then "Add to Home Screen". Open from the icon for the full-screen app experience and to enable push notifications.
Android:tap the menu (⋮) in Chrome, then "Install app". The icon appears on your home screen.

You score points for predicting the right outcome (home win, draw, away win) and a bigger bonus for predicting the exact final score. Your weekly "double-down" token lets you double the score on one fixture per gameweek. Full scoring breakdown at /rules.

You get one double-down token per gameweek. Tap the double-down badge on any open fixture before kickoff to activate it; whatever you score on that match counts double. Only one match can hold the token per gameweek, and it can't be removed once kickoff has happened.

Site credit for every correct call, £50 of site credit for the top scorer each month (£25 for August), a Star Prize for the season champion — announced during the season — and the Perfect Gameweek Jackpot: nail the exact score of every fixture in a gameweek and win £100 per fixture, up to £1,000.

If the official feed reports a match as cancelled or abandoned, your prediction is automatically reversed: any points awarded are removed, and any site credit added is corrected. You'll receive a push notification when this happens. Voids do not penalise you — your previous points and credit stand for every other settled match.

Yes — once a match kicks off, every member of your private league can see how each other predicted that fixture. This keeps the banter going and the league competitive. Your picks stay private until the deadline passes; pre-kickoff they're only visible to you. Public leaderboards and club fan leagues do not expose individual predictions.
