Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

This free-to-enter promotional prediction game ("the Game") is operated by Hot Comps Ltd, registered in England and Wales.

2. Duration

The Game runs from 11 June 2026 to 19 July 2026, coinciding with the 2026 FIFA World Cup tournament.

3. Eligibility

• Open to UK residents aged 18 or over.
• One account per person. Multiple accounts will be voided.
• Employees of Hot Comps Ltd and their immediate families are excluded.

4. How to Enter

Entry is free. No purchase is necessary. Register at football.hotcomps.com with a valid email address and predict the result and score of each of the 104 World Cup matches before the scheduled kickoff time.

5. Scoring

• +3 points for correctly predicting the match result (Home Win, Draw, or Away Win).
• +5 bonus points for predicting the exact score (8 points total for an exact score).
• +25 points for correctly picking the tournament winner.
• Knockout matches are scored on the 90-minute result only.

6. Site Credit

• 5p per correct result prediction.
• +10p bonus per exact score prediction (15p total per match).
• Lifetime earning cap: £15 per user. Once earned, no further credit accrues regardless of subsequent predictions.

7. Redemption

• Credit of £5 or more may be redeemed as a single-use discount coupon for hotcomps.com.
• Coupons are email-restricted, non-transferable, expire 60 days from issue, and require a minimum order of £5.00.
• Coupons cannot be combined with other promotions.

8. Auto-Cashout

At the end of the group stage (after Match 72 settlement) and at the end of the tournament (after Match 104 settlement), any balance of £5 or more is automatically issued as a coupon. Balances below £5 at these points are forfeited.

9. Leaderboard Prizes

Prizes may be awarded to top-ranked players at the Promoter's discretion. Prize details will be announced separately.

10. Voided Matches

If a match is postponed, cancelled, or voided, all predictions for that match are reversed. Points and credit are restored via reversal ledger entries.

11. Fraud & Abuse

The Promoter reserves the right to void predictions, freeze accounts, and withhold credit in cases of suspected fraud, multi-accounting, or abuse.

12. Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Marketing communications require separate opt-in consent and can be withdrawn at any time.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
