HOW IT WORKS

Hot Comps Football Predictor is a free-to-enter promotional prediction game covering the 26/27 top-flight football season (38 gameweeks, 380 fixtures). Predict scores, earn points, and collect site credit for correct calls throughout the season.

This is measured in pennies per match. Not pounds. Not per prediction.

• 5p (five pence, £0.05) for each correct result prediction
• +10p bonus for each exact score (15p total per exact-score match)
• No earning cap — credit accrues for every eligible prediction across the season. Double-down bonuses never double your credit — points only.
• Redeem any positive balance as a coupon code on hotcomps.com. Coupons require a minimum order of £5.00 on the store.

• Pick a score for any match in the open gameweek — each match locks individually at its own scheduled kickoff time.
• The next gameweek’s fixtures unlock once the final match of the current gameweek is settled.
• Predict individual matches or use Upcoming Matches for batch entry.

• Once per gameweek you can mark one match as your double-down. That match’s points are doubled (2×).
• You can switch your double-down to any other open match in the same gameweek, right up until your chosen match kicks off.
• Double-down does not double site credit — points only.

Before the season begins, pick which club you think will win the league. A correct pick earns +25 points. Your title-winner pick locks at the kickoff of the first match of the season and cannot be changed afterwards.

• Season — all matches plus the title-winner bonus across all 38 gameweeks
• Gameweek — points earned in that gameweek only

Tiebreakers: most points → most exact-score predictions → earliest cumulative prediction time.

At the end of each gameweek and at the close of the season, any positive credit balance is automatically issued as a coupon code and saved to your wallet on this site. Nothing is forfeited — see the Terms & Conditions.

The promoter and sole sponsor of the Hot Comps Football Predictor promotion (the “Promotion”) is Hot Comps Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, trading from hotcomps.com. All questions, comments and complaints about the Promotion should be directed to support@hotcomps.com.

No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter the Promotion or to be eligible to earn site credit. Entry is free and open to all eligible participants.

• Open to legal residents of the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland) who are aged 18 or over at the time of entry.
• Employees, contractors, directors and officers of Hot Comps Ltd, their immediate family members, and anyone materially involved in the operation of the Promotion are not eligible to participate.
• One account per person. Multiple accounts, automated entries, or any attempt to circumvent these rules will result in disqualification and forfeiture of any accrued site credit.

1. Sign up for a free account at football.hotcomps.com (or in the iOS / Android app) using a valid email address.
2. Submit a prediction for the score of any eligible fixture before that match’s scheduled kickoff time.
3. Predictions are scored automatically when the match final whistle is confirmed against the official match feed Hot Comps Ltd uses for settlement.

Site creditis awarded automatically by the platform based on prediction accuracy under the scoring scheme described in “Site Credit” above. No human selection or subjective judgement is applied. Settlement is performed within 24 hours of full time and is final.

Leaderboard prizesare determined automatically by final leaderboard standings at the close of each scored period (each calendar month and the season overall — see “Leaderboards” above), and are awarded by Hot Comps Ltd. Tie-breakers follow the order: (a) most points, (b) most exact-score predictions, (c) earliest cumulative prediction time. The leaderboard standings ranked at the end of each period are final after a 7-day dispute window during which a participant may email support@hotcomps.com to raise a scoring discrepancy.

At the close of each gameweek and at the end of the season, any positive site credit balance is automatically issued as a coupon code under the terms in “Coupons” above. Cashout is automatic — no claim is required.

Site credit. Awarded continuously throughout the Promotion. Redeemable as a single-use coupon code on hotcomps.com, subject to the coupon terms above and Hot Comps Ltd’s store terms and conditions in force at the time of redemption. Total site credit awarded across the Promotion is not capped; per-prediction economic value is small (pennies per correct result; see “Site Credit”).

Leaderboard prizes. The following prizes are awarded in addition to site credit:

• Monthly winner — the participant with the most points in each calendar month wins £50 of site credit(£25 for August 2026, which is a part-month). Nine monthly awards, August through May.
• Season champion — the participant finishing first on the season leaderboard after the final gameweek wins the Star Prize, which Hot Comps Ltd will announce before the final gameweek of the season.
• Perfect Gameweek Jackpot — any participant who predicts the exact score of every fixture played and settled within a single gameweekwins £100 for each fixture in that gameweek, up to a maximum of £1,000 (for example, a gameweek reduced to 6 fixtures by postponements pays £600). If more than one participant achieves this in the same gameweek, the jackpot for that gameweek is shared equally between them. Fixtures postponed out of a gameweek do not count toward that gameweek’s jackpot.

Winner notification & claim window. Hot Comps Ltd contacts each leaderboard winner via the email address on the account within 21 days of the relevant period closing. The winner must respond within 21 days of notification to confirm acceptance and provide the details required for fulfilment (for example, account confirmation for credit awards, or payment or delivery details for other prizes). If no response is received within 21 days, the prize is forfeit and Hot Comps Ltd may at its discretion award it to the next eligible position on the relevant leaderboard or roll the prize over to a future promotion.

Prize substitution. Hot Comps Ltd reserves the right to substitute any prize for an alternative of comparable or greater retail value where the original is unavailable (for example, a club shirt out of stock, a chosen fixture postponed or abandoned without rescheduling within the season).

No cash alternative.Leaderboard prizes are non-transferable. Site-credit awards and the Star Prize have no cash equivalent; the Perfect Gameweek Jackpot is paid in cash or site credit at the winner’s election.

Tax. Winners are solely responsible for any income tax, customs duty, or other tax liability that may arise from receipt of a prize.

Hot Comps Ltd reserves the right to disqualify, suspend, or remove any participant whom Hot Comps Ltd reasonably believes has:

• Tampered with the entry process, the platform, or any third-party service Hot Comps Ltd uses for settlement.
• Operated multiple accounts, used automation, or otherwise attempted to circumvent the eligibility rules.
• Acted in bad faith, harassed other participants, or violated the Hot Comps Ltd terms of service.

Forfeited site credit will not be reissued.

Apple Inc. is not responsible for the operation of the Promotion or for the award of any site credit. Google LLC is not a sponsor of, nor involved in any way with, the Hot Comps Football Predictor Promotion. Google LLC is not responsible for the operation of the Promotion or for the award of any site credit.

To the extent permitted by law, Hot Comps Ltd shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the Promotion, including but not limited to: lost or delayed entries, technical failures of the platform or the operating-system-level push and email services it relies on, settlement-feed errors, or any consequential loss resulting from forfeited site credit. Nothing in these rules limits Hot Comps Ltd’s liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

Personal data submitted as part of entry is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Participants may request deletion of their account at any time via the Account Deletion page.

The Promotion and these Official Rules are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Promotion is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

League wagers (e.g. “loser buys the curry”) are private arrangements between league members. Hot Comps Ltd does not offer, hold, adjudicate or enforce them, and they form no part of the Promotion’s prizes.

Hot Comps Ltd may amend these Official Rules at any time to fix errors, reflect changes in the underlying fixture schedule (e.g. postponements or rescheduled matches), or comply with new legal requirements. Material changes that affect how site credit is earned or redeemed will be announced via in-app notice and to the email address on file at least 7 days before they take effect.
